We will not have an intake in September 2023.

The second cycle of funding from EU will run out with students graduating in July 2024.

To continue this very successful programme the consortium need funding from EU. A new application will be submitted to EU in early 2023. If the application is supported by EU the application portal for the programme will open October 1st 2023 and end mid January 2024 – with start in September 2024.  

 

Please read Eligibility Requirements before applying and you have to fill in an Application Form before submitting your application.

When you apply you must upload the following documents. It is also important that you name the documents correctly (e.g. Application form. Firstname Surname)
 

  • Completed ADVANCES Application Form
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), in freestyle format
  • One professional reference on headed paper (only work related)*
  • Passport copy
  • Degree certificate
  • Certified translation of degree certificate into English (if applicable)
  • Transcript of marks
  • Certified translation of transcript of marks into English (if applicable)
  • Copy of professional licence or registration as a qualified social worker (if applicable)
  • Certified translation of professional social work licence into English (if applicable)
  • Proof of English-language ability (if applicable)

 

* One professional reference on headed paper (500-800 WORDS)

The reference should be written on organisational notepaper by a manager or senior colleague who is familiar with your practice.  The reference does not need to be from your current employer, but the referee should have had close oversight of your work for at least one year. 
Details to include:

  • How long and in what capacity the referee has known the applicant
  • The role and tasks that the applicant has performed in the organisation
  • Example(s) of good social work practice by the applicant
  • Areas of practice that the applicant needs to develop
  • The importance of an advanced social work education to the applicant’s career and to the social sector in the applicant’s country
  • Basic details about the organisation and its work with service users
  • Full contact details and signature

Note: The reference should ideally be written in English.  If this is difficult, then candidates may provide a certified translation of the original document.

If candidates/applicants are selected (proposed for a scholarship/fellowship, put on the reserve list or enrolled on a self-paying basis) their data may be used for the purposes of evaluating the programmes, efficiently manage the projects, and producing statistics. Data could be made available to the EACEA, the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, as well as to other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association.
